I have noticed an increase in arrests because of the I-phone and I-pad tracking applications. There is a find my phone application that people and police are using to locate criminals who are stealing these items along with other things in burglary and theft cases.
Recently there was a high profile home invasion case here in Orange County, Fl where the suspects were found backed on the find my phone program and it resulted in a conviction and life sentence for both co-defendants.
Technology is always evolving and this new feature is helping the cops nap criminals.
