Ginger Miranda began her career in 1997 as an Assistant Public Defender in the Broward County Public Defender's Office. There she defended people from misdemeanors to serious felonies and supervised felony attorneys. In 2002, she went into private practice where she spent a decade representing clients in Criminal Defense. Ginger returned to the Public Defender’s office in 2013, in Florida’s 19 th Judicial Circuit where she worked in St. Lucie County’s Juvenile Division, and then the felony division, representing those accused of all degrees of crimes including drugs, battery, gun crimes, and grand theft. Ginger was promoted to a supervisory position and was tasked to train other attorneys in St. Lucie County’s misdemeanor division while being assigned to the major crime division. Ginger defended high profile cases and those accused of murder, other violent crimes as well as economic crimes and sex crimes. She now happily calls Orlando home and has joined the team of Corey Cohen and Associates in defending all types of criminal charges in central Florida.
