Madison Wilcox

About Me

My name is Madison Wilcox and I was born and raised in South Florida. I moved to Orlando to attend the University of Central Florida where I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 3.99 GPA. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Legal Studies with a minor in Crime, Law & Deviance. I began my legal career as an intern in the Conviction Integrity Unit at the State Attorney’s Office. Upon the completion of my internship, I was offered a legal assistant position in the Felony Bureau at the State Attorney’s Office. I continued to broaden my legal experience by working at Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer as a legal assistant in the Foreclosure/Bankruptcy department. I came to a realization that I may have a passion for criminal defense, and consequently, began working as a legal assistant at the Law Office of Corey Cohen & Associates, a criminal defense law firm. Working in the criminal defense field has truly opened my eyes to the importance of ensuring that everyone receives a fair trial. I am planning on going to law school and pursuing a career in criminal defense as I am dedicated to standing up for those who may not have a voice to fight for justice.
